The Store person role ensures orders and freight are stored, picked, packed, and loaded onto trucks safely
cross checking stock to ensure its correct and communicating with the Warehouse Supervisor if there are any issues.
The hours are 7am- 3pm Monday to Friday.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload general freight.
• Operate Forklift counterbalance.
• Load and unload freight on vehicles.
• Load and unload freight from containers.
• Effective communication with warehouse staff, drivers, customers.
• Ensure freight in and out is managed from beginning to end.
• Stock take and inventory control.
• Assist in ensuring facility is safe, clean, and maintained.
• Work to promote safe work practices and safe working environments.

Skills, experience, and qualifications essential for the role:

• Strong attention to detail: able to pick correct products and cross check.
• Current QLD driver's license and Forklift license essential.
• Experience in forklift operation.
• Experience in warehousing and distribution.
• Prior experience in a warehouse/store person role.
• Operational knowledge in a general freight transport business.
• The ability to work in a team environment, as a team member.
• Reliable, punctual and takes initiative.
