The key focus of this role will be to:
•To lead and coordinate the planning and executions of preventative maintenance, capital maintenance and continuous improvement activities at the site
•Ensure that all production equipment is maintained, to run at optimum efficiency and manufacture products that meet the set quality standards
•Leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce planned and unplanned downtime (whilst ensuring legislative and regulatory requirements are upheld)
•Effectively manage the site tradesmen and contractors
•Develop and manage site projects (this includes obtaining quotes and ordering the necessary parts/ materials)
•Work with key personnel across the site to manage relevant Occupational Health and Safety actions through the relevant systems
For this role we would ideally like you to have:
•An engineering degree (ideally in mechanical or electrical engineering) or a Cert 4 in Maintenance Engineering
•Experience in leading maintenance teams on a manufacturing site with heavy machinery
•Prior experience in using maintenance planning/ MEX systems would be highly regarded
•Knowledge about Siemens S5/ S7 would be viewed favourably
•The ability to prioritize and communicate effectively
