Located in Laverton North, this is a great opportunity to join an industry leader working from their modern, clean and safe facility.

There is a choice of Day or Afternoon Shift

You will be well supported and encouraged to learn from a highly experienced team that will provide you with specilised training working on the latest European machines.

This is a hands on role that will see you
•Planning and execution of preventative maintenance to improve reliability of equipment.
•Maintaining, servicing and troubleshooting failures of plant machinery & equipment as per the required regulatory & safety standards.
•Carrying out property/facilities/maintenance duties.
•Carrying out fabrication & machining works as required.
•Performing routine checks on plant machinery & equipment to agreed standards (i.e. preventative maintenance machine checks, tagging out of service equipment, 6S activities, fire drills etc.).
•Proactively contributing to new installations & projects.
•Ensuring all SHEQ policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.

Previous experience working in a similar role (manufacturing and/or plastics industry highly regarded)
Maintenance Fitter Trade Qualifications are essential to this role along with proven experience and well-rounded knowledge and understanding of mechanical maintenance procedures.
